With over a decade of experience, I have immersed myself in understanding and disentangling the sources of shame, pain and disconnection that we all experience.

While earning degrees toward becoming a clinician, I supported my professional studies and academic research by engaging with life from birth to death. I have been a DONA-trained birth doula, a suicide prevention counsellor, a hospice meditation guide, and a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, among others.

My approach to helping you heal is informed by psychoanalysis, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mentalization-Based Treatment, interpersonal neurobiology, addiction recovery—and of course, by my own life experiences.

I also have over a decade of experience in the field of clinical psychology and cognitive neuroscience research. My research interests predominantly include mindfulness, personality disorders, shame and attachment.

I am presently earning a doctoral degree at UCL under the direction of Professor Peter Fonagy, OBE, FBA, FAcSS, FMedSci; co-creator of Mentalization-Based Treatment.
