Hi everyone!

In my private therapy practice and as a psychological research, I get a LOT of questions about mental health. There is an overwhelming amount of information out there, and it can be confusing and at times even contradictory. 

Most often I’m asked, “does this work?” “When will I feel better?” 

We’re here to answer that simple but important question: What will work for you? 

Talisman podcast is here to bring it all together and help you make sense of it all. Nothing it out of bounds.

When we broaden our horizons around what counts as therapy we realize that there is a wonderfully diverse range of activities and approaches that all we have at our disposal - some traditional, like self-help books or meditation, some that I first rolled my eyes at, like astrology or manifesting, and some surprising, like strength training or needlepoint... 

We have much to discuss. 

Each week we will be focusing on one specific idea in mental health - sharing with you what it is, how it works and through our own personal stories, and guest speakers, what it means for you and your own mental health journey.

As a researcher, I can talk through the evidence-based conclusions. As a therapist, we will share this info in a way that feels safe and contained.

And as someone who works in the field of business psychology, I’ll question how all this can be used to improve our communities, systems and places of work.
